RAVENNA — Brett McClafferty will be exchanging a business suit for a prison uniform for up to the next two years, a judge ruled Friday.
The former candidate for both Streetsboro mayor and Portage County commissioner — and a self-styled businessman, lobbyist and talent agent — was sentenced Friday to two years in prison for forging several checks and stealing $3,200 from a Northeastern Ohio bank last summer.
